1980-1981: Certificate of Nurse-Midwifery. University of Mississippi. Experiences obtained with Certified Nurse-Midwives through the University of Mississippi, and Ft. Defiance, Arizona. Studies included all aspects of normal obstetrical and gynecological care including family planning and newborn care. Worked with the Navajo population and the  Indian Health Services for my Integration experience.

1992-1994: Established Midwifery Service for Providence Hospital: Providence Health and Education Center. Primary CNM. Established protocols, practiced full scope midwifery with medical consultation, and provided interdisciplinary support for MSS and MCM under the First Steps Prenatal program. Hospital Privileges: Providence Hospital, Centralia. Physician consultants: Dr. Henegan and Dr. Eggers.
